Fields of Study Covered

  • Mining Engineering
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (mining-related)
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Human Resources Management
  • Procurement

Minimum Requirements

  • South African citizen
  • Currently in Matric or already studying at a recognized tertiary institution
  • Strong academic record (minimum average of 65%)
  • Proof of acceptance or provisional acceptance at a recognized South African university/college, or current academic record
  • Demonstrated interest in the mining or engineering industry
  • Preference will be given to students from Mpumalanga (Emalahleni and Lekwa Local Municipalities)

What the Bursary Covers

  • Tuition fees
  • Prescribed textbooks
  • Accommodation

Successful Candidates Will Be Required To

  • Maintain satisfactory academic performance
  • Undertake vacation work at Siyanqoba Ngamandla Holdings during holidays
  • Be available for possible post-graduation employment with Siyanqoba Ngamandla Holdings
